This publication provides guidelines to implement fuelbreaks in fire management planning for subdivisions and development. This publication was developed for use by foresters, planners, developers, homeowners' associations and others. Implementation of these measures cannot guarantee safety from all wildfires, but will greatly increase the probability of containing them at more manageable levels.
