G protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) are plasma membrane receptors involved in signal transduction and are an important target for drug discovery. Luteinizing hormone receptors (LHR) are GPCRs found on the reproductive organs of both males and females and promote spermatogenesis and ovulation.
