The U. S. Atomic Energy Commission conducted an investigation of the uranium-vanadium deposits of the Bull Canyon district in the period of 1952 through 1955. The Bull Canyon area, in San Miguel and Montrose Counties, Colorado, extends across the full width of the Uravan Mineral Belt and includes 5 localities (east of Indian Henry Draw; Fawn Springs Bench; Radium Mountain; Bachelor Draw; and Wedding Bell Mountain).
