The purpose of this study was to determine whether additional focused ethical case studies and a roundtable discussion would increase baccalaureate nursing students' moral competency over the traditional methods of nursing ethics education alone. The study used an experimental design in which 18 senior nursing students completed the Moral Competency Test (MCT) before and after the presentation of ethical case studies and a roundtable discussion.
