Abstract
The artist's statement: I create art because I have to. Not because I have to have a job or pay bills, but because I need it. I need art in my life like grass needs sunshine. Sure, grass will still grow without sunshine, but it sure wouldn't look the same. Graphic design is the ultimate multimedia art form. I love combining what I have learned about sculpture, painting, printmaking, drawing, typography, pottery, and fiber arts to create something new and exciting that can be used in an almost infinite number of ways through print or web design. I believe that every artwork that is worthwhile was created with passion. Passion does not have to scream or cry or laugh, but at the very least, it should tell the viewer that the artist truly cared. I pour passion into every work of art I create, in hopes that others can see it too.
