For nearly 100 years, Extension has helped people in Colorado. Over its history, faculty and staff with expertise in agriculture, horticulture, range, forestry, water, health promotion, financial literacy, business management, community development, and 4-H youth-development instructed the people of the Colorado's 64 counties utilizing the latest information and research. The collection contains reports which document aspects of rural life, the training and events offered by various county agents, advancements in farming techniques, the development of recreational activities, and much more. Established in 1912, the Cooperative Extension Service name changed to Extension in 2007. For more information about the collection, see
